Who is responsible
BenzoTaper, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Contact: [email protected].
The BenzoTaper tracker
The BenzoTaper tracker runs on your own device, in your web browser. It collects nothing. It has no account, no analytics and no tracking. It does not send what you type to us or to anyone else. It works without the internet.
Your browser keeps your latest schedule on your device, so it's there when you open BenzoTaper again. When you click Save my progress, a new file is saved on your device. These stay on your device unless you move or share them. To remove the schedule your browser keeps, click Clear All Fields.
This website
This website has no cookies of its own, no advertising and no trackers.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies or store anything on your device, and it does not follow you across other websites. It shows us totals, such as the number of visits, which pages were viewed, the site that sent you here, and general information such as country and browser type. It does not tell us who you are.
The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles basic technical data, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site and keep it secure. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
The Buy buttons are plain links to Stripe's checkout page. This website doesn't load any script from Stripe.
The video on the home page is on YouTube. Nothing loads from YouTube until you click Play. When you do, the video plays from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, under Google's privacy policy.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe, under Stripe's privacy policy. Where Stripe acts as the merchant of record, Stripe is responsible for the payment information it collects. BenzoTaper never sees or stores your full card number.
From Stripe we receive the order details it shares with sellers: your name, email address and country, what you bought and when, and limited payment details such as the card type and its last four digits. We use them only to deliver your purchase, answer your questions and keep the records the law requires.
If you email [email protected], we use your email only to reply to you. We keep support emails for up to 2 years, then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
How long we keep information
Support emails: up to 2 years. Order records: as long as tax and accounting laws require. We don't keep anything else about you.
Where your information is stored
Stripe, Cloudflare and our email provider may store and process information outside your country, including in the United States. They protect it under their own privacy policies and the laws that apply to them.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] from the address you used to buy, so we can find your records. We'll reply within 30 days. We may need to keep some order records if the law requires it, and we'll tell you if so.
If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to the privacy regulator where you live. In Canada, that's the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
